Jagar Tala Mountain is a 7km drive from Nganglam town and it lies on top of the Menchu village. Menchu is a lone village with the 56 household population. It has traditional houses which most of the people are living with traditional lives. There, we will able to see the people living in humble and the way of olden lifestyle. Jagar Tala Mountain is a high rise mountain in the region where we can witnesses the great Indian Duar Plains. It has a great site to see the proper view of Nganglam town and nearby 3 Gewogs namely Norbugang, Decheling and Norbugang.
The best times to undertake the trek are during the spring (April to May) and autumn (September to November) seasons when the weather is generally clear, and the mountain views are spectacular.
